Application Confirmation:  You will receive an email within 12-24 hours after this application is submitted by our vendor, CCCapply. Refer to your confirmation email and a current class schedule for detailed instructions on how to become matriculated at Cypress College.

Email:  IMPORTANT! Please note that if you are using a Yahoo, AOL or another email account provider that some users are experiencing blank pages when receiving registration emails. We suggest three possible actions:
1. Click on the Options Menu to select Full Header to read the email content.
2. Notify your email provider of the problem.
3. Update your myGateway account to a different email provider.

Applicants make sure your SPAM settings are set up to receive emails from www.cypresscollege.edu & www.cccapply.org.

All communication is through email, so please check your email frequently. NOTE: Students who share email accounts will experience delays or undeliverable email communication from: CCCapply or North Orange County Community College District. Cypress College is not responsible for undeliverable email, and it is the responsibility of the student to update and monitor their preferred email account settings through myGateway.

Social Security number:  If you did not include your Social Security number in your online admissions application and want to include your Social Security number, bring your Social Security card to the Admissions and Records Office, first floor Student Center. Beginning July 1, your SSN will not be permitted for use on myGateway.

Cypress ID number: An email will be delivered seven business days after your admission application has been processed and it will contain your ID # .

Registering for classes:All students must login to myGateway using their ID # for all registration, adds, drops and waitlist status changes. Go to the 'Student Tab' then to 'Registration Tools' for all of your registration options. For help with registration, refer to the Cypress College Class Schedule on pages 1 thru 16. 

International Students:  Applicants with F-1 visa

Special Admit Students:  K-12th grade students can attend Cypress College. This program is designed primarily for students seeking an enrichment opportunity in advanced scholastic or vocational work at Cypress College. Applicants must be at least age 13 to complete this CCCApply online application. *If you are under the age of 13 you must come in to the Admissions & Records Office to complete the application process. All Special Admit applicants must complete an admissions application and have their principal or designee authorize courses on the Special Admit Application.

Note: Special Admits will have a designated service week which will open one week prior to each semesters start date, Monday through Thursday. At this time Special Admit Students will be matriculated and submit their approved courses to the Admissions Office during this week.

How to Use the Cypress College Online Application
To complete the online application, simply type your answers in the corresponding fields or select your answers from the popup lists (where applicable).

After you complete a screen, click the [Next] button at the bottom or on one of the sections listed on the left column to move to a different screen. Before you are allowed to jump screens, we will inspect your data on the current screen for errors or inconsistencies. If errors or omissions are found, you will be returned to the screen to correct your answer(s). Otherwise, your data will be saved and you will proceed to the requested screen. We also allow you to skip to another screen without your new data being saved. Be aware that if you use the Skip & Jump function on the left column, data on the current screen will not be saved and will have to be re-entered prior to submittal.

Once you have completed the application, click the [Submit] button located on the left column to submit the application.
