If this is your first time applying to college you will need to participate in the matriculation process. This process includes assessment and advisement. Please contact the Counseling office at (408)288-3750 for further information regarding academic advising. You can also call the College Information and Student Recruitment Office at (408) 288-3708, or the Assessment Center at (408) 288-3170 or visit http://www.sjcc.edu/Reg/placement/placement.html .
If you are returning to SJCC or have previously attended another college, you are encouraged to speak with a counselor about prerequisites and your educational plans. Call the Counseling number above for an appointment. After completing these steps, you will be ready to enroll in courses by telephone or web-reg.
To register by phone, call (408) 223-0300. For registration over the web, more information about our college, important dates, and to view the Schedule of Classes, please visit our web-site at www.sjcc.edu . If you also plan to attend Evergreen Valley College, you will need to submit a separate application for admission to that college.
Within 48-72 hours, you should receive a student ID number from our District Office notifying you that your application has been processed successfully and of your eligibility to register for classes beginning May 6, 2013. New High School Students (11th and 12th grades ONLY) registration will begin in person on May 13, 2013
Please note that our offices are closed during the weekend and most holidays, which may cause delay to your notification receipt.
