Welcome to Coastline Community College and thank you for using our online application.

 

If you've already submitted an online application, please DO NOT create a new account and apply again as this will delay the processing of your original application.   Please sign in using the user name and password you established the first time you signed in.  If you forgot your Username and password, please call 1-800-GO-TO-XAP.

 

For International students (those requiring an F-1 Visa) please click here  for application information or call (714) 241-6184 and speak to Linda Maynard, International Student Advisor.

 

Ø      New and returning students, regardless of their educational background and goal, must apply for admission. 

 

Ø    Continuing Students (those students who are registered in classes for the current term) do NOT need to reapply for admissions.  Continuing students will be able to view their summer 2009 registration appointment via their MyCCC site beginning April 17, 2009.

 

Ø       Military Distance Learning Program:  If you plan to take classes through Coastline’s 8-week Military Distance Learning Program, click here to proceed with online application and registration.  You do not need to continue below.

 

If you need financial assistance, apply for financial aid at the time of the application (you’ll be given an opportunity to apply via the FAFSA website at the end of this application.) 

 

High School Students - Concurrently enrolled High School Students may use the online application, but must submit an approved High School Release Form before registering for classes.  These forms are available on line at www.coastline.edu or may be picked up from the Coastline Admissions Office or your High School.

 

Note:  It is important to submit your application at least 10 working days prior to the start date of the class to allow for processing and return of your MyCCC login information and registration appointment.

advise you to check your e-mail account often, as the information we may send will often be time sensitive.

 

Important Information:  Once you submit your online application, you will receive an email within 3-5 days (sent to the email address you supplied on your application) confirming successful submission of your application.  Please make sure to real all the email you receive regarding your application.  Additional information will be sent via email once we begin processing your application.

 

Note:  If your email address is incorrect you will not receive a confirmation of your application or instructions as to what you need to do to complete the admissions process.  Some Internet Service Providers filter mail from Coastline Community College so please check your trash folder if you don't receive an email response within 5-10 days of submitting your application.  You can avoid this by adding CCCAdmissions@cccd.edu to your Friendly Approved Senders list.  Please do not reply to CCCAdmissions@cccd.edu.  If you have any further questions regarding your application,  please call (714) 241-6176.  This is especially important if you use providers such as AOL, Yahoo, Earthlink, MSN, Hotmail, or Roadrunner and/or you use spam filters.

 

If you change your e-mail provider, please update your information in the Admissions Office promptly.

Application Instructions

  • Complete this online application. After you are finished, click the SUBMIT button located on the left column of the application and follow the directions.
  • NO FEES are charged for a California Community College admission application. Fees may be charged for the additional international application from each campus.
  • REQUEST official transcripts from previous schools attended be sent to the records office at the address below.

How to Use the Coastline Community College Online Application
To complete the online application, simply type your answers in the corresponding fields or select your answers from the popup lists (where applicable).

After you complete a screen, click the [Next] button at the bottom or on one of the sections listed on the left column to move to a different screen. Before you are allowed to jump screens, we will inspect your data on the current screen for errors or inconsistencies. If errors or omissions are found, you will be returned to the screen to correct your answer(s). Otherwise, your data will be saved and you will proceed to the requested screen. We also allow you to skip to another screen without your new data being saved. Be aware that if you use the Skip & Jump function on the left column, data on the current screen will not be saved and will have to be re-entered prior to submittal.

Once you have completed the application, click the [Submit] button located on the left column to submit the application.
