Spring 2012 application is now available for classes starting on 12/12/11 or after.

 
Please note: 2012FA application will only be available to local high school seniors who are participating in the Early Decision Program from 1/9/12 - 3/09/12 Liberal Arts (AA) is the only major that can be selected. 
2012FA application will be available to all other students on April 1st, 2012.

 

 

Step 1:

  • Note:  Your Social Security Number is required for financial aid.  However, your SSN will not be used as any type of student identification.  It will be used to verify previous academic coursework.  If you choose not to provide your SSN, please be advised that any previous coursework with Santa Ana College may not appear on your transcript.
  • Read this page
  • Click on the [Begin Application for Santa Ana College] button at the bottom of this page to begin the Online Application
    • Create a NEW User Account if you are applying online for the first time
    • Log in as a RETURNING USER if you have previously created a login for CCCApply for any California Community College
  • Complete and submit application (Note: An incomplete application may be saved)
  • Print confirmation page for your records

Step 2:

  • Check your email account.
  •  You must have an email address in order to submit an application online. This must be a confidential account as academic information will be sent via this email.  We advise you to check your email account often for important Admissions and Registration information. If you do not have an email address, CCCApply will issue you an email address at the time of application.  Check your CCCApply Email account:
    • Immediately – Confirmation Receipt from Santa Ana College
    • Within 3 - 5 Business Days – Student ID and web account log in
    • Contact Admissions if you do not receive your user id after one week from submitting the online application (714) 564-6005
  • If you are not receving emails from SAC, check your spam folder and adjust your spam filters as needed
  • Earthlink users particular note:
    Please disable any system that demands SAC to click on some link to get a message to you. These messages are routinely deleted by SAC spam filters and you won't get a response

 


Home Campus

Santa Ana College is one of two colleges in the Rancho Santiago Community College District which also includes Santiago Canyon College.  You need to complete only one application to register at either or both colleges.   By submitting this application, your home campus will be designated as Santa Ana College.

Registration Information

When submitting an application online, you will receive a confirmation email within 2 business days.  The second email will have general registration information. 

 

You must have an email address in order to submit an application online. We advise you to check your email account often for important Admissions and Registration information. If you do not have an email address, CCCApply will issue you an email address at the time of application.

New and Former (Returning) Students must complete an admission application.

  • You are a new student if you never applied to Santa Ana College or Santiago Canyon College
  • You are a former (returning) student if you previously attended Santa Ana College or Santiago Canyon College but did not attend the previous full semester (not including summer).  

    International Students

    A limited number of international students (F-1 Visa) are eligible for admission each year.  International students who plan to attend under a student visa should apply to the RSCCD International Student Office located at Santa Ana College for forms and instructions.

    How to Use the Santa Ana College Online Application
    To complete the online application, simply type your answers in the corresponding fields or select your answers from the popup lists (where applicable).

    After you complete a screen, click the [Next] button at the bottom or on one of the sections listed on the left column to move to a different screen. Before you are allowed to jump screens, we will inspect your data on the current screen for errors or inconsistencies. If errors or omissions are found, you will be returned to the screen to correct your answer(s). Otherwise, your data will be saved and you will proceed to the requested screen. We also allow you to skip to another screen without your new data being saved. Be aware that if you use the Skip & Jump function on the left column, data on the current screen will not be saved and will have to be re-entered prior to submittal.

    Once you have completed the application, click the [Submit] button located on the left column to submit the application.
